After departing Peru, we arrive in historical BISHOP HILL, a historic Swedish settlement on the banks of the Mississippi. A full Swedish Breakfast awaits, followed by a guided tour of what is very much the same town you would have seen if you came through in a horse and buggy 175 years ago! With a stop at Lavender Fields Winery for a tasting, we’re then on our way to AMANA

Lodging four nights at the incredible HOTEL MILLWRIGHT in AMANA, the comfortable, spacious rooms are in what was an actual working textile mill! Breakfast is served daily on premises, and the cocktail lounge is the place to kick back at the end of the day!

Day two brings the AMANA COLONIES experience to life, with German lunch at the OX YOKE INN, followed by an afternoon of touring the colonies. After the MUSEUM OF AMANA HISTORY, we’ll visit the BROOM & BASKET makers, WOODWORKERS, artisans, HEARTH OVEN BAKERY, and so much more—with plenty of opportunity for free time for shopping, wine tasting, or relaxing.

On day three, our destination is CEDAR RAPIDS, and the CZECH & SLOVAK MUSEUM, located in the heart of BOHEMIAN VILLAGE, a lively district with shopping, galleries, restaurants, and the culture of the country. After the museum, you’ll have the afternoon to wander, shop, and enjoy! Back to AMANA for a traditional COMMUNAL MEAL, then a WINE & PAINTING PARTY where you design your own keepsake wine glass!

KOLONA in the heart of AMISH COUNTY is day four’s destination. Morning will be for downtown Kolona & lunch, then off to the historical AMISH VILLAGE, where the crafts are alive. Our guide will then take the group on a tour of AMISH COUNTRY, and our day ends with a TRADITIONAL AMISH MEAL at an Amish home!

Following free time in Amana, our final day takes us to WILLIAMSTOWN OUTLET MALL for some shopping and lunch, as we make our way home via Moline and a DINNER CRUISE on board the CELBRATION BELLE RIVERBOAT!
